One letter of recommendation is required. Please choose a recommender who knows you and your work, and tell them to email the letter to SMPA Student Services Specialist Marisa Mansueto at email@example.com.
You can print your full unofficial transcript from GWeb and scan it, or print it as a .pdf and submit that. We require your full unofficial transcript, not just the current semester.
A completed CCAS "Declaration of Major/Minor Form" is required for this application. Please make sure to fill it out completely. You can find it on the CCAS website. No other signatures on the form are required at this time except for the student signature. We recommend using a mobile scanning app or scanners at Gelman Library.
Transfer applicants who were at GW in Fall 2014 and/or Spring 2015 have the option of fulfilling either SMPA’s 2014 curriculum requirements or the current requirements. The required courses for each are slightly different. For guidance, please refer to the curriculum worksheets for Journalism or Political Communication.
